Fogbound

Claire finds herself in her childhood home where she is forced to relive the traumas of her past caused by her abusive family through items that belonged to them

Fogbound was my second academic project and it was my first project where I had to create a proper videogame.

Since we had to do a non-linear path experience, we thought about a map with boundaries where the player would have had free agency on his/her movements. At the end of the brainstorm, the final idea was an exploration game where the main character find herself in the house of her youth in search for answers on its future.

Looking on the internet for references I ended up with a layout that helped my team to design the golden path.

I was the only one to work on the entire house and after 20 hours of work I finished the whole structure, the enrichment of both floors and eventually the illumination.
